Miguel Campos was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1971.
He began his musical experiences with his older brother at a very early age. As a music conservatoire student, he enrolled in classical guitar and tried his first ensemble compositions for orchestral instruments.
After graduating, Miguel spent a few years in London, UK, working and studying recording arts and music for film and media. Miguel's career as a film composer started only a few years ago. His first film score was produced for Absolution, a film written and directed by young Canadian film maker Hank Devos. Miguel lived in Canada with his wife between 2011 and 2014 and currently lives and works in his hometown, Lisbon.
